Biography

Robert Cane is an associate attorney at Blackburn Donnelly & Pabon, focusing on Insurance Subrogation & Coverage, Municipal/Land Use Law, Civil Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Administrative Appeals.

Before joining Blackburn Donnelly & Pabon, Robert served as a staff author for Quimbee.com, crafting study aids across a broad range of legal fields. Prior to that, he was the Gallivan Research Assistant to Professor Sara Bronin at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he focused on land use and sustainability issues. At UConn, he contributed to the Restatement of Property, Fourth, Rathkopf’s, The Law of Zoning and Planning, various scholarly articles, and a Land Use casebook. Robert also clerked at the New Haven Judicial District Superior Court for the Honorable Brian T. Fischer and the Honorable Patrick J. Clifford.

Robert earned his law degree with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as a research assistant to Professor Lewis Kurtantzick, focusing on intellectual property and sports law. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance, also from UConn.
